Leaders of LVTC Visited the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia

From News Center (Text and photo by Sun Yunqian, Office of International Exchange) On February 17, 2023, a group of teachers led by Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia for exchanges, in order to enhance cooperation and exchanges with universities of the Republic of Indonesia (hereafter referred to as Indonesia). As an old friend of LVTC, Yudil Chatim, Cultural Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia received Wei Lin and his delegation friendly.

At that time, Wei Lin introduced the basic information about LVTC to Yudil Chatim, expressed appreciation to him for supporting the education project jointly developed by LVTC, Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd., (hereafter referred to as LiuGong) and Jakarta State Polytechnic in Indonesia during his tenure at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia, and invited Yudil Chatim to visit Liuzhou for guidance when Chinese redbud blooms. Wei Linhua, Director of the Office of International Exchange, briefed Yudil Chatim about the progress in building the LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College and told the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia the good news that an Indonesian student ANDRI ARDIANSYAH won the gold award in the first World Vocational College Skills Competition.

Yudil Chatim extended a warm welcome to Wei Lin and his delegation. Yudil Chatim was excited while hearing the good news, saying that he would include it in his work report to inform the Indonesian government. He also promised to provide further support to solve the difficulties and problems during the development of the LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College of Indonesia, so as to promote cooperation and exchanges between Chinese colleges and enterprises and Indonesian universities.

Up to now, LVTC has signed cooperation agreements with four middle and higher vocational colleges and general high schools in Indonesia. Especially, supported by Yudil Chatim, then Director of the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia, and Yaya Sutarya, then Cultural Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia, the cooperative education program with Liugong, and Jakarta State Polytechnic has been carried out without hindrance from the very beginning. In the future, LVTC will continue to communicate with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of Education and Culture, thus implementing the cooperative program in solid steps and contributing to educational and cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia.
